Vibraslap: The Zine

I thought a zine about the Vibraslap would be a funny, accessible way to draft and produce my first A7 zine.

2. The vibraslap is a punch-liney butt of a joke instrument. A percussionist holds the metal wire handle and strikes the ball (illustration), which causes the metal to shake inside the hollow wood (illustration 2).
3. It used to be a hollow jawbone from a zebra or donkey (incorrect illustration), originally from Africa but used in Spanish music. Apparenrly the teeth shook? Either way it sounds metal as. (accurate illustration)

7. I quizzed many of my friends about the vibraslap, and almost everyone mentioned Cake's Short Skirt Long Jacket and so they should! Cake are known notoriously as the Vibraslap band.
8. What sounds could have been improved with Vibraslap? Anything B52s but obviously Love Shack, War's Low Rider or anything Ricky Martin. Copywrite, website, date, etc.
